How do I know when it’s the right time?

If your cat or dog has a poor quality of life or is suffering, you should speak with your vet about whether euthanasia might be the right option. You can rest assured that our team will answer all your questions and offer advice. Your pet’s well-being is always the most important consideration.

What happens during a euthanasia appointment?

When you arrive at the clinic, our team will guide you to a peaceful, quiet room where you can take the time you need to say goodbye to your pet. When you feel ready, we’ll give your pet a first injection—a sedative—to calm them and make them feel at ease. Next we’ll inject a solution that will stop the animal’s heart. From start to finish, the procedure will be carried out with the utmost care and respect. Your pet won’t experience any pain.

Can I stay in the room during the procedure?

Yes, you can absolutely stay with your animal. Your pet will be calmer and it can also be a way for you to begin the grieving process. However, if you don’t feel ready or it’s too difficult for you to be in the room, we absolutely understand. A member of our team will stay with your pet the entire time.

Do you provide memorial mementos?

We know that your pet has changed your life for good. Our aftercare includes different options for you to pay tribute to your faithful furry friend’s life. These include a paw imprint, urn and other mementos. Our team can speak with you about these options and help you through this difficult time.

Do you offer in-home euthanasia?
