Our team handles all general surgery needs at the clinic. We have state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped with all the latest technology. Our team provides attentive care tailored to each individual animal.
What types of surgical procedures does the clinic perform?
At Clinique Vétérinaire Beaubien, we perform general surgery and routine procedures. This includes spaying and neutering, mass removal, abdominal and soft-tissue surgery. We also offer wound care (suturing).
How much time will my pet need to recover from surgery?
Recovery time varies depending on the kind of surgery and size of the incision, but on average pets need 10 to 15 days to recover. After the procedure, the veterinarian will provide you all the information you need to provide post-operative care for your four-legged companion.
If you are concerned about your pet’s recovery or the incision is not healing properly, please get in touch with us. Someone from our animal health team will assess the situation and offer you advice or the appropriate care.
What does anesthesia involve?
Before putting your pet under anesthesia, we always do your pet’s blood work. These tests allow us to detect any underlying conditions that could affect anesthesia. Next, our team will administer a reversible sedative to send your pet into a deep sleep. During surgery, our team monitors your pet’s vital signs and body temperature to make sure everything is normal.
